The UK is divided. Brexit will not go away: a hard Brexit means very few would be happy; remaining without a second vote, and the bitching will never end. May’s deal has been ridiculed by the historical parliamentary defeat and is not going to solve anything. The only resolution is a decisive and fairly run People’s Vote. It is not hard, suspend A50 for a year, run a fair referendum between remain and the parliamentary choice of Brexit, and go with the result. Take it seriously, because this is the only way that it goes away.
