MASS PICKET TODAY!!!!!!!!! Wednesday 4th May

Remember, the Chair of Governors Keith Geary has already said:
“if it (the school / governing body) is split we’re not going for it”

But we don’t believe him! This Wednesday the governors are voting for a new academy application which can be put through with just one vote.

Help us!

ALL OUT FOR THE SAVE TIDEMILL SCHOOL CAMPAIGN!

Stop the privatisation of our school!

As a resident of Lewisham & with children in a nearby local primary school, I find that the behaviour of the LEA regarding Tidemill has been both shocking & disgusting. When so much local opposition has been shown against this new academy application, why is this still under consideration? So much for being listened to! Also it will affect every other child in the borough, due to less money in the education pot overall. The reason I believe in state education (& schools not being shunted out of it) is due to the belief that every child should have a fair chance & that is what could be denied to children if this goes ahead! Privatasion by the back door is what this is about….What a sad day!

Nobody seems to be looking for the reason that some Labour Council members are supporting this obviously bad and anti-local proposal; well it could be possible that some local politicians are not completely honest. Someone even suggested to me that bribery is involved but I couldn’t possibly comment Can anyone thimk of a better reason. JP
